Mendengarkan pengalaman '1st hand' dari seorang mangsa tsunami 2004 amat menginsafkan..

Waktu kejadian 5 tahun lepas, aku di Labuan atas audit assignment ke sebuah kilang tepung, Interflour.
Melihatkan coverage di TV sudah cukup menggerunkan, bayangkan mereka2 yg dihempas ombak setinggi 10 meter..
Atas inayah Allah jua mereka2 ini masih hidup..
Berkongsi cerita agar dapat dijadikan iktibar buat yg masih hidup...
Buat generasi2 seterusnya agar jangan asyik keseronokan dunia hingga terabai Islam & Iman..



Terbayangkah kita andai tiba2 langit itu runtuh lalu menghempap segala penduduk bumi??
Segalanya mungkin, kerana Allah punye kuasa atas tiap2 sesuatu..

Begitu juga dgn nikmat yg kita ada.
Saban hari, kita asyik memikirkan apa org lain ada & kita tiada..

Hanya apabila nikmat yg kita ada telah hilang dari pandangan kita...
maka tika itulah baru kita sedar nikmat yg Allah bagi itu amat besar nilainya...hatta sesuap nasi...

Andai kamu merenung bintang di langit, usahlah lupa rumput & pasir yg di bumi....

Scattered Paper

Once upon a time an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief. As a result, the young man was arrested. Days later the young man was proven innocent.  After been released he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.
 
In court the old man told the Judge: 'They were just comments, didn't harm anyone..'
 
The judge, before passing sentence on the case, told the old man: 'Write all the things you said about him on a piece of paper. Cut them up and on the way home, throw the pieces of paper out. Tomorrow, come back to hear the sentence.'
 
The next day, the judge told the old man: 'Before receiving the sentence, you will have to go out and gather all the pieces of paper that you threw out yesterday.'
 
The old man said: 'I can't do that! The wind spread them and I won't know where to find them.'
 
The judge then replied: 'The same way, simple comments may destroy the honor of a man to such an extent that one is not able to fix it. If you can't speak well of someone, rather don't say anything.
 
'Let's all be masters of our mouths, so that we won't be slaves of our words.'

Kami sampai umah parent aku @ Tmn Sri Saujana dlm pukul 9.30 malam tadi.
Waktu makan,ayah ade mention die dpt sms berkenaan Sultan Iskandar yg sedang gering.
Since mlm td tak bukak TV,pagi2 baru le tau baginda telahpun mangkat jam 7.15pm semalam...

Al-Fatihah buat almarhum, semoga ditempatkan di kalangan orang2 yg beriman..




Semalam aku amik cuti, pagi pegi HUKM utk periodical check-up.
Alhamdulillah...semua blood reading normal. Hope it always be..

Then,pegi anto servis keta kat seksyen 14, PJ.


Mengimbau kenangan2 lalu masa kat matriks UIA.
Berjalan kaki pegi sahur...Gi ronda2 kat supermarket Jaya (malangnya baru lepas runtuh)
Ikut budak2 main kuda (masa tu cukup popular), walaupun cume jdk pemerhati..itu bukanlah sesuatu yg aku banggakan...
semoga Allah ampunkan dosa kelalaian2 yg lepas...

Kemuadian bersolat Jumaat kt Masjid Tun Abd Aziz..
Di kalangan budak2 UIA, lebih dikenali sebagai masjid bulat...
Intipati khutbah adalah tentang mati.
Yes, topik yg bukan favourite.
Kalo dengo kuliah kat radio atau TV, kalo bole sure kite akan tukar channel...

Sedangkan Rasulullah dah pesan, org yg paling bijak adalah yg selalu mengingati mati.
Utk ingat mati, kite kene selalu bercakap tentangnya..
Tapi bile kite selalu sebut tentang mati, orang akan cakap kite ni jumud, mundur..
Entahlah...

Yang penting, kalo kite tau hakikat mati...serta hakikat wujudnya syurga & neraka,
nescaya kite akan sentiasa berhati2..
Setiap langkah, setiap tindak tanduk kita...

Mudah-mudahan kita akan ingat itu.....

Mayonnaise Jar & Coffee

to those who haven't heard the story..something to ponder



A professor stood before his philosophy class..
and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar,
effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family, children, health, friends, and favourite passions..
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house and car.

The sand is everything else....The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children.
Take time to get medical check-ups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled..
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle...
When 24 hours in a day is not enough...
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

D-Day

Rutin2 seharian memang memenatkan...
Namun, andai matlamat kite hidup ini jelas sejelas2nya..
hari demi hari sebenarnya akan mendekatkan kite..
mengenalkan kite kepada Pencipta kita, Tuhan sekalian alam..

Berkenaan konflik nama 'Allah'...
masing2 ada pendapat tersendiri, ade agenda tersendiri, ade misi tersendiri..
Terpulanglah..
yakinilah Allah akan melindungi agamaNYA yg sempurna & suci ini, insya-Allah...

Apa kata kite lihat dari suatu sudut yg lain...
Mungkinkah orang Islam itu kualitinya sudah terlalu 'bobrok',
sehinggakan Allah hina kita sekarang ini..apabila orang bukan Islam pula yg beria2 ingin mengaku Allah itu tuhan mereka?? renung2kanlah...

And today, new organization chart for my Co. will be out at 4pm.
While I might be happy, frankly I will be happier if I am not getting the promotion...
not for now..

Daripada al Mughirah b. Syu'bah RadhiAllahu 'anhu beliau berkata:
"Telah gerhana matahari pada zaman Rasulullah S.A.W, pada hari kematian Ibrahim (anak Rasulullah S.A.W),
maka telah berkata manusia: Matahari menjadi gerhana kerana kematian Ibrahim.
Maka Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda:
"Sesungguhnya matahari dan bulan adalah dua bukti di antara bukti-bukti kekuasaan Allah, keduanya tidak menjadi gerhana disebabkan hidup atau matinya seseorang, apabila kamu melihatnya (gerhana matahari dan bulan), maka berdoalah pada Allah dan bersolatlah, sehingga habis gerhana." - Muttafaq 'alaihi.

Tahun 2009 melabuhkan tirai.
Sesuatu yg istimewa utk tahun 2010 apabila sambutan countdown berkebetulan hampir serentak dgn kejadian gerhana bulan..
Sama ada kite melebihkan sambutan tahun baru, atau menuruti sunnah Rasulullah s.a.w.?

Kat desa aku ni, alhamdulillah org2 surau ade inisiatif anjurkan solat sunat gerhana bulan..
Tak silap Masjid Negara pun ade buat, tapi silap beso le kalo nak ke KL time2 camni..

Apapun, semoga tahun baru ini semakin mendekatkan kita pada Pencipta kita..
Mudah-mudahan semakin kite sedar hakikat kehidupan yg amat singkat & sementara ini..

Bus-Stand Pagoh

Dah lama tak dining out kat tpt2 yg agak 'happening' dlm erti kata sebenar...

Utk aku, tpt yg aku consider happening ialah crowd yg sederhana, selesa & kebersihan yg bole diterima akal, aroma bau masakan dari periuk & kuali yg menggiurkan (ngiur??apakah!!!!).
Kalo tpt tu murah pun kire happening gak la kot...hehehe...

Mlm tadi, aku pun ajak le mak ayah aku makan luar.
Selalu bwk mkn luar kat KL aje, coz kalo kat Muo ni, masak aje le jawabnye..

Mula2 tu, nak bwk diorg gi secret recipe..
Ceh, nak berlagak le tu Muo pun ade Secret Recipe...hahaha...

Pastu teringat pulak kat satu tpt ni, dah lama gak tak singgah..

Bus-Stand Pagoh..itulah nama tptnya.. Sebenarnye perhentian bas express..
Kalo korang naik bas ke Muar, expected arrival pulak are pkl 8pm-12am.. maka turun2 bas je sure korang tak miss tpt mkn ni...

Kalo org dtg Muo pun, ni je satu2nye tpt mkn yg aku bole recommend..
Namun, kalo cuaca hujan, tak dpt la menikmati makanan dgn tenang, maklum le open concept..
Penah sekali aku berlari menyelamatkan pinggan & meja lantas berteduh kat celah2 org tunggu bas...

Berbalik cerita malam tadi...
Mak order laksa Johor, Ayah makan Mee Bandung Muar (original ok...bukan yg mcm mee tomyam, mee hailam, mee asam pedas yg aku penah jumpe tatkala order mee bandung kat KL nun).
Wife aku order Yong Tau Foo (yg ni pun payah jumpe, ade sup..kalo tpt2 lain yg kering tak berkuah)
Syafiq order mee hoon tom yam...& jeng 3x...
Aku order nasi goreng ayam berlada....terbaik!!

Alhamdulillah...nikmat sungguh reunion dgn makanan2 kegemaran yg mana aku dibesarkan dengannya...
Ditambah dgn air fresh orange berharga RM1.50 gelas sederhana beso..aikk,dah naik?? aritu baru RM1.20?!!!
Sudah maju Bandar Maharaniku yg tercinta.. (harga barang naik nilai kemajuan ape...)
Selain maju kerana sudah ade Secret Recipe...ahaks......

Punye la mengadap sampai lupa nak amik gambo utk ditepekkan di sini..
Korang bayangkan aje la camne rupa makanan2 yg aku sebut tu yerk.......
